Hi, I am Catherine or Cathie, Filipino and Australian Citizen, a wife and a mother of 3. I am a chef and a baking enthusiast. I grew up watching my grandmother, mother and aunties prepare a feast every time we have family gatherings which had a big influence for my love of food. I started learning to cook at a young age and baking during my teens. Although I love both cooking and patisserie, I pursue cookery as my career and baking as a hobby. I used to bake and sell cookies and brownies to my co workers when I was in the Philippines. In 2014, I came here in Australia to work in a Football Club as a Chef. In early 2020, when lockdown was imposed and I wasn't able to work, I used that as an opportunity to work more on my baking skills. I started making and selling breads, Filipino baked goodies and eventually cakes, cheesecakes and cupcakes. At present, I'm still working as a Full Time Chef and run my home based business at the same time. I am working and getting ready to make it bigger in the near future. For now, I am happy with what I am doing and I strive everyday to learn and do better with every product I make.
